from a concert...
We went to see a concert last night. It was good, and totally enjoyable. What really left a lasting impression on me, though, was that the performer was having such a great time. And when you look at it, he's actually working.
It just made me reflect. When I go to work, how often do I really turn up with a "wow" smile either on my face or in my heart? And I really love the sport I play, but I seldom say yippee when its training time. (Of course, it takes a certain kind of person to find joy in running laps or fitness tests... which proves my point)
Come to think of it, I do have fun at training - when its social game. But that's the thing, why don't I have fun at training proper?
It can be done. Looking back at when the academy did us a clinic, they had such a high level of enthusiasm, it was almost creepy.
