so high i could fly
On saturday they took away our free car park access to the junior school and told us to park at the hdb car park across the road. El cheapo me found a show flat with an open car park, no guards and no 'one armed bandit' and this was only a block away.
So of course I slipped in.
Imagine my dismay when I returned, rather much later that evening, to find the exits barricaded.
The only way out was across an expanse of grass bounded by a curb on either side. It wasn't a particularly high curb, say the usual 6 inch kind. And thank goodness there was no longkang!
Yes I COULD have returned for the car the next day. But opted instead to try cross country trail driving. Bump bump screech (that was the undercarriage on the curb) and we were free. I was screaming like a loony all the time.
If this is how you feel after breaking some rule or other: think graffiti, shoplifting, hell, even white collar crime.. Maybe the high of getting away is why some do it!
