Those dark nights on the road...

So just a few hours earlier than this time last night I was on the first of (it feels like) many drives where you are the only car on the road and its dark and the only light is from your car headlamps. And I was doing the "dear God" speech in my head. Trying to bargain and negotiate.

I wonder how many others find themselves doing this too.

Anyway G is in hospital due to being excessively anaemic. 3 bags of blood transfusions did not noticeably increase his blood haemoglobin count, do they are going to test it again after about 400 buckaroos worth of iron infusion thingey. Then a battery of tests to be scheduled to find out why this happened. hence the slew of "please please please God"s en route from home to hospital and back again and again.

5 hours from Erskine Park NSW to Logan hospital QLD -would have been an exciting experience in a different situation. Fasten your seatbelts..
